James "Jim" Watts 76, of Highlands Ranch passed away peacefully on Jan 3, 2018 in his loving wife Leslie's arms.

Beloved father of Trevor (Sherry) and Troy (Linda), brother of Gary (Mary) and grandfather of Remy, Taylor, Jordan, and Stella. Also survived by former daughter-in-law Dawn Tuttle.

Born in Decatur, Il, a graduate of MacArthur H.S., and Southern Methodist University. He spent many years in the travel industry with Eastern Airlines, 5 Star Travel and other travel organizations.

In retirement Jim found his dream job working at The Links golf course where he made many meaningful and long lasting friendships. "The Mayor" touched all of those he met with a smile, a handshake, a hug, and his quick wit and  “Wattsisms.”

A good kind soul who will be missed by many.

No visitation or services at this time.  A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
