Robert Reeser "Skip" Moore

DECATUR -- Robert “Skip” Reeser Moore, age 73, died Friday evening, September 2, 2016 at his residence.

There will be a family led graveside service on Monday, September 12, 2016, at 12:00 noon in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, IL, with Reverend Roy Abbott officiating. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the memorial fund to the family, in care of Marcia Moore. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care will be assisting the family.

Skip was born on October 24, 1942, in Tullahoma, TN, the son of Robert W. and Mary L. (Reeser) Moore. He was a graduate of MacArthur High School in Decatur, IL. He married Marcia Trowbridge on November 29, 1986. Skip was an electrician at Moore Electric, a jack of all trades, an avid Cub fan as well as enjoying spending time with his family for lunches and get togethers.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Mark Moore, Cindy (Dan) Schum, Julie (Amanda) Moore, and Jennifer (Derek) Baldarassi; seven grandchildren, Blake Moore, Sammie Stokes, Dylan Schum, Aidan Schum, Brendan Schum, Austin (Tyler) Yutzy and Morgan Edgecombe; two great grandchildren, Maddox Yutzy and Elliot Yutzy; and sister, Lynette (Mick) Dukeman.

He was preceded by his parents, Mary and Bob Moore, and his brother, Larry Reeser.

The family would like to thank the staff at DMH 4100 and DMH Hospice with special thanks to Diane for helping with Skip at both the hospital and home.
